New and Improved Start Line

We improved the start line for you. You will still start at the same location, same time BUT.... to make the start cleaner for all, a new and improved start line is in place. You may not see the change but believe me, it is there. You will feel the change.

For the 2nd Year New Timing Options Are In Place

5Kers you asked for it...... Again this year ALL PARTICIPANTS will have the option to be chip timed with the new disposable D-Tag. Whether you are running the 8 mile or the 5K, when you sign up you will have the option to be timed or untimed. There will be a $5 timing charge if you choose to be timed.

Updated Timing Tags

No need to remove your timing tag from your bib and place on your shoe. Technology is now allowing us to keep the timing tag on the bib with the same accuracy.

"Trial Runs" to Help Prepare

Have you starting training for this year's Trot? Let us help. This year we have 2 organized "Trial Runs" to help you in your training. A 5K on September 11, 2010 and a 10K on October 9, 2010. Both will be held at the McKinney Family YMCA. The fee is $30 and includes a cool technical race shirt.
